   a. God comes to Egypt to free his people from slavery to Pharaoh

2. God’s power revealed in NT
   a. Jesus has come to free us from slavery to Sin
   b. God drives out the power of Satan, establishes his kingdom
   c. We are freed so that we might worship God in spirit and in truth

News & Events:

• PGC has started Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting from Jan/18 (today), 08:30 — 09.15 at PCA Room 303. Pastoral team will prepare and lead the prayer items in bilingual.  Welcome all to join anytime during the period, form groups yourselves, and pray together in your preferred languages for global and community issues, as well as our church and missionary ministries.
• There will be a Special PGC Membership Meeting to be held on Feb/8, 12:45-1:30pm at PCA Big Gym with the agenda item “Church Conflicts and Unity: Updates and Decisions from the Board”. The meeting will be for PGC Members to attend only.  Would PGC Members please reserve your time to attend.
• English Faith Foundation Course (last class today) will take place 11:15—12:30 at PCA Cafetorium. Welcome all Gr 6 to adults, Christians or non-Christian, to sit in.
• English is launching2 Sunday School courses below on the 1st and 3rd Sunday from February to June.  Strongly encourage all congregants from Gr 6 and up to adults to join and learn for our spiritual growth together.   Please sign up to enrol in the course you are interested in by Jan/25 (coming Sunday):

• Wed Sports Night will be suspended next week on Jan/21 due to PCA school activities. Thank you for your attention.
• Invitation for all to praying for Summer Camp 2026 ministry, that God would use it for His Kingdom, and that many lives will be built up and transformed in Jesus Christ. May God also bless and provide in our CSJ funding application for youth employment.  All registration and applications open Monday, Jan/26 at 7:00AM peoplesgospelchurch.org/summercamp/
• PGC church-wide retreat will take place during the Victoria Day long weekend on May 16-18, 2026 (Sat-Mon) at Trent University (Peterborough). Rev Peter Au (區應毓牧師/博士) and Pastor Tobi Adetayo (from Grace Fellowship Church) will be the guest speakers.  Registration will start on Jan/25 (coming Sun).  Please reserve your dates to join this meaningful retreat and sincerely invite you to take part in various working groups forming for organizing the event.  Stay tuned on any updates to be announced in due course.

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray for the world as many places remain in warfare, churches are persecuted, many peoples are injured and weak physically and mentally. Pray for God’s grace and mercy in granting hope and peace to the world.
• Pray for God’s leading and guidance on the organization and serving teams of upcoming retreat, as well as summer camp. May God grant us unity, closely bond in Him to build up each other and glorify His name.
• Pray for the special PGC members meeting on coming Sunday that all agenda items will be discussed according to God’s will.
• Pray for Vika’s family that both her brother and mother are looking for work. May God provide for them jobs to be able to support their family and their needs in Ukraine.
• Pray for God’s blessings on missionaries’ works in spreading the gospel, that people will open hearts to listen to and accept the gospel, and experience healing and miracle changes in their life.
