From now on, please access our church website through the new platform with weblink pgcmarkham.org and ‘Listening to God’ through pgc260.com.  After the old website has been restored by Google, we shall redirect all webpages from the old to the new platform, where your previous bookmarks will become available again.  Appreciate the efforts of our IT co-worker Eddie in setting up the new platform, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the incident.
  • PGC cordially invite for your presence at the Ordination Service for Pastor Iain Davis and Pastor Andy Tse 10:30am on 2/15 (coming Sunday). Praise to the Lord!  Light refreshments will be served at 09:45-10:25, and there will be PGCKIDS and Nursery Service (11:30-12:30).  Due to limited parking space at PCA, encourage parking at 180 Renfrew Dr (opposite to PCA) first to reserve PCA space to families with kids and seniors.
  • All are welcome to join the English Fellowship Connection today 11:15-12:30 after service at PCA Cafetorium. High School (HS) girls monthly gathering will take place today at the same time at PCA Room 308.  Welcome university and up to adult ladies to join together.   High School (HS) boys will restart gathering on a monthly basis from today and on every 2nd Sunday at PCA Room 307.

  • Pastors Iain & Andy have been teaching and preaching on the issue of Membership, and we would like to hear from you! If you are interested in talking about membership please sign up, and we will host an event where we can talk, share and have an open dialogue. All are welcome!
  • On behalf of PGC’s leadership team, we would like to give thanks to every leader, brother and sister for your faithful serving in the past year. As a token of our appreciation, please get our small gift for you at the Reception Table.  For those serving in PGCKIDS & Nursery, please get yours at PGCKIDS sign-in table.
  • Lunar New Year is just round the corner. PGC is pleased to receive some “Fai Chun” (揮春) from SOBEM.  Please feel free to pick up from Reception Table while stock lasts for your own use or to give out to bless others.   May brothers and sisters have a blessed Lunar New Year with God’s grace and mercies.
  • English Caring Team would like to cordially invite all adult and youth helpers serving in 2025, together with their families, for a lunch as a token of appreciation to their dedication and hard work. The lunch will take place 12:30-14:30 on 2/22 at PCA Cafetorium.  Please reply by 2/13 forms.gle/zSwtmNqodcrHxauy9, and contact Sabrena for enquiries.

  • Praise the Lord for the encouraging registration response—children’s summer camp has been full, while spots of grade 5-8 youth camp is filling up fast! We stand in awe of God’s faithful provision and His mighty work among the next generation. Please continue to pray for the recruitment of our youth ministry team May the Holy Spirit bring spiritual breakthrough and growth in PGC.

Prayer & Praise Items:

** Encourage use of PGC’s Prayer Card and be quiet, humble, turn back, seek and wait for God together (pgcmarkham.org/files/2023prayercard.pdf) **

  • Pray for the world as many places remain in warfare, churches are persecuted, many peoples are injured and weak physically and mentally. Pray for God’s grace and mercy in granting hope and peace to the world.
  • Pray for God’s leading and guidance on the organization and serving teams of upcoming retreat, as well as summer camp. May God grant us unity, closely bond in Him to build up each other and glorify His name.
  • Pray for church unity with love and accommodations in Christ among brothers and sisters in PGC that God will help us remove any barriers, conflicts and misunderstanding in our spiritual home.
  • Pray for God’s wisdom to our pastors and church leaders to have biblical discernment, and our congregations be thirsty for God’s words. Let us be rooted in Christ and not be influenced by the secular world.
  • Pray for Vika’s family that both her brother and mother are looking for work. May God provide for them jobs to be able to support their family and their needs in Ukraine.

Offering:

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

– Malachi 3:10 (NIV)

PGC needs sufficient funds to provide for the needs of our different ministries.  Let’s respond to God’s love through our faithful and generous offering.
