“Don’t Stop Praying”
“Don’t Stop Praying”
Series: English Sermons
Please feel free to download the bulletin PDF or use another cell phone to read the sermon outline, news and prayer items.
CHAIRMAN: JOHNATHAN TANG
SPEAKER: REV. DANY SOTO
SCRIPTURES: LUKE 18:1-8
Sermon Notes:
Faith that endures is faith that keeps praying
Reflective/Discussion Questions:
-
- Jesus says we must “always pray and not give up.” Where in your life right now are you most tempted to quietly stop praying, not outwardly, but inwardly losing heart?
- The sermon highlights that the greatest danger is not rebellion but silent discouragement. What does “drifting” in your prayer life actually look like for you, and how can you recognize it early?
- The widow’s persistence was not based on emotion but resolve. What would it look like for your prayer life to be shaped more by commitment than by how you feel?
- We often interpret delay as denial or silence as absence. Can you identify a time when God felt silent, and how did that season shape your faith, for better or worse?
- Jesus connects persistent prayer with enduring faith. If someone looked only at your prayer life, what would it reveal about what you truly believe about God?

- God has been so good to PGC and we praise Him for His provision! This year, Canada Summer Jobs has granted us 11 positions for youth interns and camp team members. We do not take this blessing for granted. We truly sense God’s favour and His invitation for PGC to make the most of every opportunity now to build up young people as His disciples and to reach children and youth for Christ. Please continue to pray for our camp team recruitment and for this ministry to remain Spirit‑filled and Christ‑centered.

Offering:
